Last weekend a group of us went to Murchison Falls for a goodbye weekend for some amazing people leaving Gulu soon. We camped in the middle of the game park, out in the middle of the bush. We had an armed guard, Julis, who was a lot of fun and let us take pictures holding his machine gun! We camped under a tree on the delta of the Nile river…amazing weekend.

Lighting storm last week in my front yard in Gulu.
Last week we had a crazy thunderstorm in Gulu. I shot this from the restaurant I was having dinner at that had no windows…it was a lot of fun.
Faldon and I spent a large chunk of our morning today riding around Gulu trying to get a print of this image made. Unfortunately none of the printers computers in town would read jpg’s from my computer, so print was made.
Made it back to Uganda now, staying for a bit in Gulu. This is where I will be staying for a bit.
